Intro & New Features

The CCM Jetspeed FT870 Roller Hockey Skates are the performance level skates offered by CCM in 2026. They feature a Synthetic Composite boot, ADPT memory foam, and enhanced comfort while being worn.

Boot Construction

The FT870 boot is constructed with Synthetic Composite. This gives the skate an ergonomic fit with additional stiffness and support, promoting durability. The skates are also lightweight, which allows players to have a bit more mobility while wearing this skate. CCM also included their Ortholite footbed in this skate which reinforces the lightweight properties and enhances overall comfort.

Ankle Padding & Liner

The inside of the skate features a HD Microfiber liner. This high resistance to wear with added EVA layer delivers a better fit and improved comfort while wearing the boot. These roller skates are also equipped with ADPT Memory Foam, which is a multi-layered configuration with denser memory foam ankle pads that creates a comfortable and snug skate interior.

Tongue

CCM designed these roller skates with a 7mm felt tongue with injected lacebite protection. The felt is designed to provide a level of comfort to players while wearing these skates, and the injected lacebite helps prevent the effects of lacebite.

Chassis

This skate features a two piece aluminum frame that boasts a lightweight, and ideal weight to strength ratio.

Wheels

Constructed with the Hi-Lo Rizion wheels, these wheels are suitable for outdoor surfaces, enabling agility and speed through the staggered wheels setup.

Bearings

The Abec 7 roller skate bearings offer great precision, these are suitable for high speeds and competitive play.

Sizing

The CCM Jetspeed FT870 Intermediate Roller Hockey Skates are available in sizes 4-6 (full and half).
