The Bauer Vapor X700 trapper follows the same design as the 1X, but slightly differs in materials to be at a more reasonable price for entry-level goalies. A one-piece cuff is used to provide a larger blocking portion of the glove, and have a larger appearance to the shooter. The X700 trapper has a 60-degree closure, bringing the index finger to the tip of the thumb. This closure is very familiar and popular amongst most goalies. The trapper comes stock with a hybrid-T. The anchoring point of the hybrid-T is like a double-T, but comes together to form a single-T. This design makes it easier to close the glove and increases puck retention. Digitally printed graphics add great colour detail and drastically reduces the overall weight of the trapper.
